So it’s already been four days since the tower’s Coffee Talk but I still can’t get over my regret of not being there to support my friends. :(

I kept watching the video in my dash whenever I’m in front of my laptop and I can’t move on on how my friend April rocked it. Jobane and Mon and Lani and Derrick are there but when I try to watch them individually, my eyes just move back to where April is and stay there. HAHAHAHAHA. She’s just so much fun to watch. And that was just in the video. I know she’s even more awesome if I was able to watch her LIVE. 

I swear the next time she asks me to watch any performance including her, I won’t let my night shift and lack of sleep hinder me from doing so. And if I have to drag my girl friend Ruth (oh yes, girl friend!! BURN DENNIS) with me, I, without an ounce of hesitation, will.

I could’ve managed all audience impact they could get had I been there. But I’m not :( I was on night shift and the time was a little critical for me to attend :(

I totally salute my friends right here, they were epic epic epic!

And April, she totally didn’t forget the hair fix! I love her. HAHAHAHA.

I HATE MY FRIENDS.

So it’s been 6 hours since my birthday started so yeah. I was expecting lots of greetings from my work friends and pestering to get me to treat them to pizza or ice cream or whatever but NO, I DID EFFING NOT.

At exactly 12:00MN, my partner-in-crime greeted me so I guessed that was a good start. He’s been consistent for the last three years, always the first to greet me so I was kinda expecting that and I’m totally not disappointed. :) A few minutes later, Alex somehow got around to defile my no-graffiti-birthday-wall-posts principle on Facebook. My team mates started commenting from there but my friends? NO. THEY DID NOT.

More minutes passed. Still no greetings. Add insult to the injury that my phone got busted so I barely receive any messages. Well, except from Bea and Dennis. They weren’t in the office so they just texted me. And that’s very acceptable. But the others? OMG I am sooooooo killing them.

Then April asked me to go pick up Karla with her and Ruth so we can all buy food together. STILL NO GREETINGS. I was suspecting they’ve forgotten. Although April’s an exemption, she already greeted me prior. SHEEEESH. I was already not in the mood to work because no one’s MOC’ing me for a greeting. I mean, right?? They’ve forgotten about my birthday!!! And they’re what you call friends, y’know? Really, it’s insane. I’m going all bitter on myself and thinking how forever alone I am now.

So yes, we all went down to pick up Karla to supposedly buy food. Karla stays at a conference room because their floor is under renovation. I thought that she being in a room was totally normal. And so I went to the room. And guess what.

I’VE GOT A CAKE. A FREAKING CHOCOLATE CAKE. COMPLETE WITH A LIGHTED CANDLE. AND SOME VIDEO OF “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” SINGING PENGUINS.

I hate them.

• …I rapped with my bestfriend for. the. first. time. ever.  to J. lo’s “All I Have”  WADUP.
• …Divaz night was held (while the boys were outside) featuring Jobane, Lanie, April, Tessa, Ruth and yours truly.  =)) 
• …I think we actually sang all the 90’s boybands songs possible.  Suweet.
• …We sang out our hearts until the wee hours of the morning - which we haven’t done in so many months.

Okkkaaaayyyy I’m still psyched that Ruth just won Pinoy Henyo yesterday. She already invited me to go with her for moral support but since it was a short notice and I had a training scheduled the same time as the show, I couldn’t. I badly wanted to go and cheer but due to several factors restraining me, I just forced my best friend to go support her and be as loud as he can. Good thing he didn’t need some violent forcing.

I also just realized that Ruth’s audience were all from the same sub-team which is totally not hers. HAHAHA. Look at them here. I soooo love them for going with her at just a moment’s notice and they were cheering and supporting her the best way they can. I bet we in the office were equally loud in jiving with their support, even the managers watched Ruth and all sub-teams came in the small conference room! We live-streamed the show then projected it and we didn’t mind that we’re all sardines-in-a-can in the room.

Bea and April laughed wildly whenever our teammates’ faces flashed in the screen with their mouths hanging wide open. HAHAHA.

Bea even sent a meeting request for this.

This is just totally amazing. :D

Yesterday, I stayed with April on shift because she’s alone in the early morning. She scattered all her food by her side including this Inipit bar.

By shift overlap time, my friend Bea invited all Baguiomates on the 11th floor to go eat with her at Hap Chan for the sole purpose of healthy living. HAHAHAHA. And since Derrick had a meeting because he’s captain ball of his team for the company’s basketball league, it took us real long to get down to Bea’s floor. By the time his meeting was over, Bea encountered a failed disk!! OMG hahaha so it took us another long time to get down and eat. I didn’t leave her right there because I knew she’s already pissed off of that failed disk plus she’s really already hungry.

April won’t enter their quadrant because her brother’s around so she, Kim and Derrick waited by the elevator. Derrick is such a klutz, he patted April’s bag where her earring prodded out so he got pricked and had his palm slightly bleeding. Hahaha. When Bea had already arranged for her failed disk to be replaced, it’s too dark outside and April still has to go for work early the next day so she took a cab straight home. Kim and Derrick and Bea and me were left to gorge at Hap Chan.

I noticed Kim was holding this Inipit bar pictured above right when we ordered. I still can’t get over how Derrick kept on gushing. It was like he’s the only girl among us. So I told him that how he keeps on gushing is annoying and then he told me “What? Like Oh my gosh-ing?” And we kept on cracking up hahaha.

When we finished eating, I saw Kim sneak up something in my bag. Then I saw this Inipit bar!!!

Oh. Now I had a dessert to match my breakfast.
