Haha. Dennis totally dug this game. Can’t blame him. I’m addicted to this, too. When we’re both waiting for Ruth that day we’re supposed to watch The Avengers, we just sat at Wendy’s and played till we get high streaks. Haha.

At first he didn’t believe my highest streak of 39 until he got a compelling 26. I mean we’re not all familiar with the brands especially those country-exclusive ones.

But it was fun. Haha. Played until we drained my Touch’s energy. And then Ruth arrived so party’s over.

Finally got the chance to watch The Avengers with Tessa and Dennis as my dates. :D 

I’m just happy hanging around with them even if they are puyat. (anong tamang english sa puyat?) haha. 

On the other side of the story, Derrick’s promise was broken.

So I stopped reading my corporate emails since last month because I just can’t help but feel aggravated every time I read all of them haters. I just resorted to being in the back-end for a little while because I guess I gave up all hope on humanity including having direct contact with people.

I used to like my boss. Really. She’s nice to talk to and she can be a real charmer when she wants to. Now, I’m kind of thinking she’s the female personification of JK Rowling’s infamous villain Lord Voldemort.

I guess she’s only fond of me upfront because I tend to whatever knowledge she’s lacking when it comes to the team. Kind of like Pettigrew and Voldemort’s relationship when the latter was still so weak.

But wait till she sends an email. Just you wait. And then you’ll realize she can have you fed to Nagini in a second or blow you up with whatever dark magic. Except she won’t of course. She needs my knowledge to get my team running.

What a snake.

The next time she makes me look stupid again in any email, I SWEAR I’M TELLING ALEX!!!!!!!!

HURRAH FOR TAGUMPAY’S FIRST WIN!

It’s really sad that I didn’t make it because Ruth won’t be around and when Derrick found out that Ruth is out of the picture, he was on the verge again of reiterating his list of reasons I shouldn’t go. So I decided to just drop it. I decided to leave them on their own for a lot of factors, but it’s mainly to just shut him up. HAHA

I think we’re jinxes when we watch them. They won gracefully without any of their bitches around. HAHA.

I went home really early yesterday because I’m so ashamed of Dennis. See, I told him that Ruth and I will be watching them play and then suddenly Ruth backs out and then chain reaction’s with me. I don’t think I can handle it if Dennis gets mad at me. I don’t like seeing him frown at people, let alone at me every time his moods switch. I just packed up immediately the moment my shift’s over. But he’s nice, he texted me that I vanished so soon and then I told him I’m ashamed that I can’t watch the game today. He replied that it’s okay, but I only was able to read that when I woke up this morning so I was all emo during the night. HAHA.

Just a few moments ago, I heard of the super awesome news from Marvin. He said they won by a 5-point lead or so. Marvin said it was my bestie who had it for the win. Pierre was there with him as well when he broke the news to me, and they were really pleased about winning. :)

And then Pierre, being really cute and all that, approached me for the AC remote. He told me, “sayang di ka nakanood.” AAAACCCKKKK it was like a kid pleading his aunt to buy him balloons. HAHAHA. And then he told me how they almost dumped their opponent by give or take 20 points, and I was smiling a lot because I knew they had it in them. I asked him if he’d been awesome again, and he was really cute saying “Naks” shyly. HAHA. That guy.

I think I’ll be missing all their games from this point on, which is a total disappointment and bummer. But whatever. It’s not like I can do anything about it. :(

Meanwhile, after Eat Bulaga… ♥

You might ask why we’re all in yellow. My girl friend was one of the finalists for Pinoy Henyo and so we rushed to the Broadway Studio to watch her contend live. I was all groggy here because I came from night shift and the show airs at exactly noon time. 

This is also the first time we’ve successfully pulled Rish in our escapades so it was really fun and special. Bea left us soon right after Ruth treated us to lunch so she only had a few pictures. I was anticipating that they’re going to decide to watch a horror movie right then and there even though I already feel so dizzy that I hear rings from my head. And they didn’t care, they just totally laughed at me. HAHA.  I said yes, though. I’ll never know when’s the next time we’ll have dear Rishy with us again so I gave it a go.

But the movie hopping didn’t push through because all schedules sucked. They went Dairy Queen’ing instead and since all my systems are already failing from super lack of sleep, I decided I won’t have Blizzards with them.

And nooooo, April’s not texting. She was just playing some sort of Bejeweled game.

I stayed again for a long deal of time after shift yesterday.

Ruth had treated me to breakfast because I responded positively to her joke of treating me that she didn’t had the heart to take it back. HAHAHAHA.

Our floor was in for a lot of cleaning activities that our pantry had been closed. Dennis and her and I resorted to the reception area pantry instead. But then Jayson asked Dennis to attend to an issue so Ruth and I are left alone.

And we talked about life and who knows what else, and that’s when we found out that we were each other’s long lost sisters. We’re sisters not by blood, but by fate.

How did that happen, anyway? 

Our family structures are the same, we shared the same experiences in most points of our lives, we have the same points of view about most things, even our behaviors and tendencies are ridiculously the same.

The whole time we were talking, she was like “Gaya-gaya ka ng buhay!!” and I couldn’t respond with anything because it’s probably true. See, she’s older than me. A month older, but yeah, still older. =))

We called Dennis and he was surprised that we were still waiting for him so he said he’ll come back for us. And so I went on on how long it took him to come back and I told him “Sa sobrang tagal mo, naungkat ko na yung buhay ni Ruth!” And then I remembered that once I already dug a guy’s life for me to know an awful lot about him, my systems rule him out for any romantic involvement. And since Ruth and I pretend we’re girl friends, I turned to her and said, “Wala na Ruth, break na tayo.”

And you know what she said? “Ayoko.” Complete with a sad face. I was just moved by that moment that I laughed my head off. I totally love her. :)

And now, I’m derping alone in shift because she took two-day off. I miss her already. :(

DERRICK’S ONE OF THE TEAM LEADERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pierre’s been hogging the spotlight, though. He’s so cute.

Yesterday, Karla asked me to go with her to watch a volleyball game of two of the most popular universities in our country. I had second thoughts on going because Derrick would be going with her and I’ve always felt that I shouldn’t intrude if it’s the both of them. They’ve always had this connection long before Derrick and I got to know each other and I know it’s evil to interfere.

But then Derrick told us that something came up, and I knew he’s thinking of ditching Karla and I had no heart to let that happen. So yeah, I went with her. She was already all groggy coming from night shift and we had to endure the madness of the sun while walking along the circumference of the gym to find the ticket booth. And when we got in, the gym was already full.

The varsity players had a pretty smashing game, actually. Can be compared to an international volleyball game. And when the game’s over, that’s when Derrick arrived. He was so ashamed that he’s already being awkward, saying the nicest things and all, it’s enough to creep me out. 

He treated us to everywhere he could manage and since Karla was even more groggy, we decided we should call it a day. So Karla went home, Derrick and I took a cab to get his car and whaddya know. He wouldn’t stop talking again.

I missed him big time. :( That’s the Derrick I know. In the past few weeks, we weren’t able to have a sensible conversation because he just always ends up getting mad at me and I keep on getting into his nerves. And then I understood why all of a sudden. Dennis is right. Totally right. :)

So it’s already been four days since the tower’s Coffee Talk but I still can’t get over my regret of not being there to support my friends. :(

I kept watching the video in my dash whenever I’m in front of my laptop and I can’t move on on how my friend April rocked it. Jobane and Mon and Lani and Derrick are there but when I try to watch them individually, my eyes just move back to where April is and stay there. HAHAHAHAHA. She’s just so much fun to watch. And that was just in the video. I know she’s even more awesome if I was able to watch her LIVE. 

I swear the next time she asks me to watch any performance including her, I won’t let my night shift and lack of sleep hinder me from doing so. And if I have to drag my girl friend Ruth (oh yes, girl friend!! BURN DENNIS) with me, I, without an ounce of hesitation, will.

I HATE MY FRIENDS.

So it’s been 6 hours since my birthday started so yeah. I was expecting lots of greetings from my work friends and pestering to get me to treat them to pizza or ice cream or whatever but NO, I DID EFFING NOT.

At exactly 12:00MN, my partner-in-crime greeted me so I guessed that was a good start. He’s been consistent for the last three years, always the first to greet me so I was kinda expecting that and I’m totally not disappointed. :) A few minutes later, Alex somehow got around to defile my no-graffiti-birthday-wall-posts principle on Facebook. My team mates started commenting from there but my friends? NO. THEY DID NOT.

More minutes passed. Still no greetings. Add insult to the injury that my phone got busted so I barely receive any messages. Well, except from Bea and Dennis. They weren’t in the office so they just texted me. And that’s very acceptable. But the others? OMG I am sooooooo killing them.

Then April asked me to go pick up Karla with her and Ruth so we can all buy food together. STILL NO GREETINGS. I was suspecting they’ve forgotten. Although April’s an exemption, she already greeted me prior. SHEEEESH. I was already not in the mood to work because no one’s MOC’ing me for a greeting. I mean, right?? They’ve forgotten about my birthday!!! And they’re what you call friends, y’know? Really, it’s insane. I’m going all bitter on myself and thinking how forever alone I am now.

So yes, we all went down to pick up Karla to supposedly buy food. Karla stays at a conference room because their floor is under renovation. I thought that she being in a room was totally normal. And so I went to the room. And guess what.

I’VE GOT A CAKE. A FREAKING CHOCOLATE CAKE. COMPLETE WITH A LIGHTED CANDLE. AND SOME VIDEO OF “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” SINGING PENGUINS.

I hate them.

I totally do.

I GUESS IT’S FRIENDSHIP OVER.

Today… er… or a few hours ago, Ruth extended her stay in the office to chat with me. I should say that was really touching because neither of us can’t celebrate Valentine’s Day with someone considerably special. Her best bud Kimy won’t be around, neither will be Dennis because he’s on morning shift. My partner-in-crime on the other hand has to go to work early so Ruth and I had this day all to ourselves.

She ended up scattering junk food all over my workstation and laughing at me. My manager was MOC’ing me and I had to attend to my manager’s concerns so I couldn’t protest.

And then she asked me something totally morbid I was like 

She told me that our friendship could strengthen if I’ll be able to take the smell of her bottom burp. So I totally stared her down and she laughed her head off. She just totally laughed her head off!!!! I can’t believe her.

HAHAHAHAHA.

And then I told her I’m choosing F.O. instead. And she kept on laughing like I wasn’t serious!!!!

Well, yeah because she knows I wasn’t serious at all. I’d still take her bottom burp however bad it is. I ♥ YOU Ruth! I got your back always. :) See you in night shift soon! :)
